MAMMOTH – now this isn’t going to be a typical report post by me. Over the past couple of a days a lot has occured from behind the curtains.
First of all (even though it’s not relevant), I am your new Head Reporter. Despite only being temporary I plan to use this position wisely to better the Small-Medium Army Central in any way possible.
Some of our viewers may be unaware that an “overthrow” of Pungy as the head of site was attempted earlier this week. To his prevail though it was stopped quickly and resulted in the people involved being deleted from the site. After a lot of arguing on the staff site, it came to a conclusion that SMAC needed a lot of improving. And fast too. Here is a comment from the debating,
I guess there isn’t really anything for me to add here. Note that picking sides in a situation like this is lethal. If you notice there are only really about five people who care enough to debate about this. Maybe there is beef between us five (or four, I’m trying to be neutral here), and there should be a way to work it out. Honestly there are three things that we can do to fix this situation.
[a] pungy stays as the only head of site, but everyone he deleted off the site gets readded for the sake of keeping peace; [b] pungy is removed from his position and someone is promoted to fulfill his spot; [c] both bep and pungy become head of sites and if they cannot decide something together they bring it to the staff site where the staff votes to decide an outcome.
Pungy has opted to carry out the action plan “a” called for. However, we are still struggling to identify what can be fixed to better this site. Our goal as a small-medium news site is for all you small/medium army leaders out there come to this website first when you open your internet window. We want to be there reporting news for everyone. We want to inform this community and better it with facts and opinions. The staff have been putting in all of their effort, but now we’re going to need the help of the viewers.
